Festival City, Dubai announced yesterday the launch of Casper Theme Park, the first of its kind in the Middle East.

The 6340 square feet of entertainment was launched in partnership with Kuwait based on the future child’s reception and Real Estate Company. It is expected that construction will begin soon and the theme park scheduled to open in the first quarter of next year.

Casper the friendly ghost, is a popular actor in the famous series of theatrical cartoons of the same name. As its name suggests, is a very friendly ghost who prefers making friends with people instead of scaring them. Currently, Casper is a $ 1 billion (Dh3.67bn) for retail, with over 60 years of heritage and a series of hit movies including a new TV series launching in 2009.

Casper Theme Park will be the first of its kind in the region has the largest in the Middle East monorail.
