2.1 Million Visitors Used Public Transport to See New Year Eve 2020 Fireworks Display
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) released the figures of how many visitors used public transportation to see the New Year Eve 2020 firework display. RTA announced that more than 2 million visitors used public transportation to see fireworks display at ten different locations across Dubai.

RTA announced that 2,126,417 riders used public transport which is 3.6% more riders compare to last year. The report shows that out 2 million, almost half of them used Dubai Metro and 440,520 passengers used public buses and 37,150 used Dubai Tram. The statement also said that 689,212 used Taxis and 52,123 chosen marine transport.
The statement does not says anything about the riders who used online travelling apps like Careem, Uber and others.
Dubai arranged the fireworks display at 10 different places in the city to welcome New Year 2020.

Like every year, Dubai welcomed New Year 2020 with a spectacular fireworks display at the main attraction of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. The record-breaking almost 9 minutes fireworks display did not disappoint the viewers.
