LEGOLAND Dubai Set the World Record of the Tallest LEGO Building Structure

LEGOLAND Dubai announced the world record of the tallest LEGO building structure. Standing at 17 meters tall, The Burj Khalifa LEGO replica will become the tallest LEGO building structure in the world. Burj Khalifa replica is located in LEGOLAND Dubai’s Miniland. It took over 5,000 hours and 439,000 LEGO brick to build the structure.

Burj Khalifa structure will also consist of recreation of the world-famous fountain show at the real Burj Khalifa. LEGO Burj Khalifa will also feature a creative LED light show. LEGOLAND Dubai which is going to open at Dubai Parks and Resorts on 31st October will be the world’s seventh LEGOLAND. Like other LEGOLANDS will allows children to earn a driving license, swim with sharks, fight fires and generally enjoy a park dedicated solely to them. In total, it will feature over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions and 15,000 LEGO model structures made from over 60 million bricks.

1. LEGO City
In LEGO City Kids can apply their skills as they can become part of the crew board the Shipyard or as they learn how to drive an electric car and earn their official LEGOLAND Driving License at Driving School. They can also fly a plane, steer a boat or save a Burning Building as fire fighters.
Here kids can see how LEGO® bricks are made. They will receive their very own LEGO brick fresh from the casting line as a souvenir. Factory land also has a The BIG Shop which is consist of the selection of LEGO toys. This is the largest LEGO shop in the Middle East.
Save the day in this medieval land. Conquer The Dragon on an exhilarating roller-coaster ride through the King’s castle, while younger knights and princesses can also ride the Dragon’s Apprentice. Merlin has cast his spell on you… pedal your way up and down on Merlin’s Flying Machines to break the spell.
This is the land for every LEGO® fan to enjoy. Here you can build and race LEGO® cars, or schedule a class to build with MINDSTORMS® robotics. On LEGO® TECHNIC Twister, it’s you versus the centrifugal forces that’ll get you spinning with excitement. But there’s more than just courage to be built in this region; hoist your way up the Kid Power Towers, where you can view the entire Park.
Young explorers seeking an adventure will find just that in this land. Why not join the LEGO® divers in a captivating underwater adventure that the whole family will enjoy. Then dodge water blasts on Wave Racers before taking a journey through ancient temple ruins to recover a pharaoh’s stolen treasure.
A visit to MINILAND is an absolute must for every family, with 20 million LEGO® bricks all in this indoor, air-conditioned interactive area. LEGOLAND® Dubai will feature Dubai’s iconic skyline and key landmarks from around the Middle East. And guests will have the opportunity to create their own skyline at Build A City, a 10 metre play table with white LEGO bricks.
The finishing touches are currently being applied to the park. Unveiling the Burj Khalifa is the most significant announcement since a to-scale Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was unleashed on the public in early September.
According to the LEGOLAND Dubai official website, the park is Opening on 31st October 2016. LEGOLAND® Dubai and LEGOLAND® Water Park will be the ultimate destination in the Middle East for families with children from 2-12.
