The Crown Prince of Dubai, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was blessed with the birth of twins, a baby boy and a baby girl. The royal couple has named the boy Rashid and the girl as Sheikha.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum took to Instagram to post a simple image of blue and pink feet, suggesting he and his wife, have welcomed a girl and a boy.
In Arabic, Sheikha means ‘princess’, while Rashid means ‘rightly guided’.
The girl has taken the name of her mother, while the boy shares his with Sheikh Hamdan’s late grandfather, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Hamdan and Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed married in May 2019. Rashid and Sheikha are their first children.
Faz3 or Fazza as he is popularly known by has shared the photo with his following of 11.6 million (and growing) people and he isn’t the only one who shared the picture on social media.
Sheikh Hamdan’s sisters, Sheikha Latifa and Sheikha Maryam, were among the first to congratulate him via Instagram stories.
Today, Sheikh Hamdan shared the pics of both kids on his official Instagram page.
